County Exec Committee Meeting - Thursday, March 4th |

Please join us for the March County Executive Committee Meeting. Thursday, March 4th at 6PM at FCDP Headquarters. Aside from one quick piece of business, the program for the evening will be presented by Mr. Stephen Gheen - - voter registration analysis extraordinaire.Mr. Gheen follows voter registration numbers in every county across the state and accurately predicted the voter turnout numbers required for victory in 2008. He will challenge us to meet aggressive goals in 2010 and reconnect with key voter populations. And remember… Precinct packets are available for pick-up at our headquarters. If you would like to have your precinct packet mailed to you or sent via e-mail, please contact us at 724-5941. The window for holding a precinct meeting this year begins this Saturday, February 27 and ends Friday, March 12. A quorum is still defined as 5 registered Democrats residing in your precinct.
If you are interested in holding a joint precinct meeting please let us know. Albert Porter and Jennifer Dale are working with several interested ward coordinators who will assist in this effort.
Once you have picked a date, please contact me or Cindy at Headquarters. We will post schedules of precinct meetings online and include them in the weekly e-newsletter. One date to avoid is Monday, March 8th as the county will be hosting a debate forum for all 3 Democrats running for the U.S. Senate.
If you are interested in helping to organize other precincts, we would love to have you. Many hands make work light. Even if you have only 30 minutes to give, your help can be extremely valuable.
